XU Xiangnan Visits Hunan, Praises Banfert’s Digital 3D-UV Coating University-Enterprise Cooperation Project with Academician WU Yiqiang

On March 24, a delegation led by XU Xiangnan, Chairman of the China National Furniture Association, visited Central South University of Forestry and Technology (CSUFT) to gain in-depth insights into cutting-edge industry technologies and the progress of industry-education integration. They were accompanied by WU Yiqiang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Secretary of the CPC Committee of CSUFT.

During the visit, Professor DENG Liwen of CSUFT, who also serves as the CMFP Design Director of Banfert New Materials Co., Ltd., provided a detailed introduction to the "Digital 3D-UV Coating Design Solution" jointly developed by Banfert and CSUFT. This innovative solution integrates digital printing technology with UV curing processes, with a core breakthrough in overcoming the technical bottleneck of simultaneous pattern alignment for wood and stone grains, achieving precise matching between texture and structure. In terms of aesthetic exploration, the solution significantly expands the decorative expressiveness of surface materials, enabling efficient personalized customization to meet consumers' pursuit of unique home aesthetics. It offers a new coating approach for interior spaces that combines flexibility with environmental sustainability.

Banfert and CSUFT have long maintained a solid cooperative foundation, and this jointly developed achievement stands as a vivid example of synergistic university-enterprise innovation. Moving forward, both parties will continue to deepen their collaboration mechanisms.
