Ningxiang, China – October 18, 2025 – In the golden October of 2025, a warm learning atmosphere filled the air. On October 18, participants from the Hunan Province New Era Basic Education Famous Teachers and Principals Training Program (2023-2025) - Outstanding Chemistry Teachers Training Class visited the Ningxiang new plant area of Banfert New Materials Co., Ltd., embarking on a journey characterized as "a dialogue between education and industry, and a collision of theory and practice."

These backbone chemistry teachers from secondary schools across Hunan Province, led by Professor Yin Dulin, Doctoral Supervisor of Hunan Normal University, and Mr. Wang Yongmin, Director of the Training Office of the College of Chemical Engineering at Hunan Normal University, experienced firsthand the seamless integration of cutting-edge chemical technology and industrial application through activities including a company introduction, exhibition hall tour, laboratory experience, and a sharing session on the development history of coatings.

I. Decoding Banfert's "Chemical Gene"

The study program commenced at 9:00 AM with a thematic introduction titled "New Materials Empowering a Better Life."

As a practitioner of "industry-academia-research collaborative innovation" in the chemical industry, Banfert has consistently focused on the R&D and production of high-performance coatings and new materials since its establishment. Through deep collaboration with institutions like Hunan Normal University, Banfert has built a full-chain innovation system encompassing "basic research - technology transfer - industrial application."

"Our core competitiveness stems from strong R&D capabilities. We have a team led by doctors and masters, and have applied for over 100 patents," introduced a representative from Banfert's Brand Department. "For instance, our recently developed diamond glaze coating not only achieves a mirror-like effect similar to ceramic tiles but also addresses issues of lightweighting and low-carbon environmental protection. This technology has been highly recognized in overseas markets."

II. The "Chemical Code" from Laboratory to Production Line

Subsequently, the teachers delved into Banfert's "technological core" along the route "Exhibition Hall - Testing Center - R&D Laboratory."

1. Corporate Exhibition Hall

Panels of graphics, text, and physical exhibits traced Banfert's "innovation trajectory": from early "UV/water-based coatings" to current offerings like "172 Excimer Coatings," "Anti-Yellowing Coatings," and "High-Performance Film Materials." Each step reflects the company's pursuit of "green and high-performance" goals.

2. Testing Center

In the Testing Center, displays of various advanced testing equipment (such as Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and Laser Particle Size Analyzers) and experimental apparatus sparked great interest among the teachers.

3. R&D Laboratory

In the R&D Laboratory, teachers gathered around experimental benches, closely observing the processes of adhesive foaming and UV transfer adhesive experiments. They frequently exchanged ideas with researchers. "So the 'polymerization reactions' and 'functional group modifications' from textbooks are already being applied so maturely in industry," remarked one teacher with admiration.

III. "Two-Way Empowerment" Between Education and Industry

During the sharing session on "Coating Development History and Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation," Banfert's Technical Director, drawing on 20 years of industry experience, reviewed the development path of China's coating industry "from the vermilion lacquer of the Neolithic Age to modern coatings." "Lacquer has a history of thousands of years in China. Building on this profound heritage of Chinese coatings, we positioned ourselves in eco-friendly UV/water-based coatings. Since then, we have persistently dedicated ourselves to UV coating R&D, adhering to the 'Green High-Performance' philosophy, continuously tackling challenges and expanding into new fields such as photoresists and 3D printing photopolymerization encapsulation films."

Professor Yin Dulin, from an educator's perspective, elaborated on the significance of "corporate study visits": "Secondary school chemistry education cannot be merely 'theoretical.' By bringing teachers into enterprises to understand the 'real needs' of industry, we can better integrate 'textbook knowledge' with 'practical application,' cultivating innovative talents who 'understand theory and can practice.' Conversely, enterprises gain 'fresh theoretical insights' through collaboration with universities, driving technological upgrades."

Teachers also actively shared their takeaways: "My previous impression of 'chemical enterprises' was 'pollution and backwardness.' Seeing Banfert's 'green production' and 'advanced technology' today has completely changed my perception." "Through this visit, I learned about the extensive applications of chemistry in fields like 'home furnishing, appliances, consumer goods, and even semiconductors.' I can now tell my students more 'stories of chemistry.'"

IV. Conclusion

This study activity not only allowed secondary school chemistry teachers to "touch" the "real face" of the chemical industry but also enabled Banfert to convey its brand philosophy through an "educational setting." This event exemplifies the integration of Banfert's "brand communication" and "social responsibility" – by bridging education and industry, it enhances brand reputation while injecting "educational momentum" into promoting the "high-quality development" of the chemical industry.

Looking ahead, Banfert will continue to deepen industry-academia-research collaboration, promote the precise alignment of "technological achievements" with "industrial needs," enable more educators to enter enterprises, help more students understand the "value of chemistry," and contribute to the cultivation of innovative talents.
