This July, a group of vibrant new recruits bid farewell to campus. Bringing along youthful eagerness and enthusiasm, they officially embarked on their professional journey at Banfert. Thrown into an unfamiliar working environment and confronted with stringent work standards, they once felt lost and apprehensive.

Fortunately, a cohort of caring, professional mentors stood by their side, offering guidance and thoughtful support. They accompanied the new-comers through their transformation from “campus students” to “Banfert professionals”.

Though they have no three-foot lectern, they nurture talent right at their posts. Thanks to the mentors’ knowledge-sharing, the unfamiliar workplace has become warm and promising. With their rigorous guidance, young new hires forge ahead toward their goals.

Shortly after I joined Banfert, the company assigned mentors for new employees. I feel truly fortunate to learn and grow under your tutelage. You are incredibly patient during daily coaching, always encouraging me to raise questions whenever I get stuck. Many technical puzzles that had perplexed me for a long time suddenly clicked after your pointers.

Your distinctive coaching approach has benefited me immensely. Instead of feeding me ready-made conclusions and past experience, you steer me toward discoverybased learning. For instance, regarding performance differences among core components of UV coatings, you guide me to run hands-on experiments. Through comparative testing and independent summary, I sort out underlying principles. This enables me to understand not just what happens, but also why it happens. It has cultivated my R&D mindset for independently analyzing and solving formulationrelated challenges.

I am deeply grateful for everything you have taught me. I have built solid expertise in component properties and handson formulation practices for UV coatings. My research capabilities have improved substantially. I have gradually found my work rhythm and smoothly integrated into the Banfert team.

You assign me to design various formulation systems. Most of these coatings come with assorted defects. When problems emerge, you propose solutions and push me toward further optimization. It is exactly these issues and the iterative formulation-refinement process that help me grasp the functions of different substances within coating systems. Frankly speaking, this learning method is far more efficient than purely studying theories, and lets me get up to speed on my responsibilities much faster. Outside of work, you are amiable too. On my very first day in the department, you told me we had a great team atmosphere and my time here has proven that to be true. Without your guidance, I would have stumbled through countless missteps. Beyond work, you occasionally treat me to nice meals. We share many common interests: games, travel, even investment trends. None of this progress would have been possible without your patient. Whether it concerns lab-specific know-how or troubleshooting real-world issues at customer sites, you share everything openly. You help me organize my thoughts and correct my immature assumptions.
